Last night was a simple backyard BBQ at the Smiths townhouse in Burke. It was actually a quiet evening that ended with Trina and I chatting on the back deck with a glass (or two) of wine and the boys playing AoC in the basement.
They just got back from a week long adventure to her family's house in VT. When the stories were over, I was glad to have the close, loving and small family I do. She has 6 siblings, 7 nieces/ nephews, and I have lost count of the extended family right there in the small town.
