This labor day was celebrated in Ft. Walton Beach Florida. We had great weather Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. As Sunday afternoon wore on, it was apparent by the water caps that the boat had to be rushed out of the water. Kristi did an awesome job of navigating the trailer, while Scott navigated the boat onto the trailer.
The weekend also meant lots of family time. I got some more early life stories from grandpa's days in Boston, and Greg got some information on Travis' future college quest. I also got some buddy time with Bryson. Pam and Jerry Rollins were also there over the weekend to share in the chats and adventure. Though not of blood relation, time has earned them the Aunt & Uncle status.
Mostly we stayed bay side, but we did head out for a few events like the Auburn game.
The edge of Gustav rolled in as Auburn was crushing it's foe, and let it's edge hover past our area. It brought some cool winds and rain, but nothing too bad as we kept power.
