Last night we kicked back and watched Evan Almighty. While we were not rolling on the floor laughing, it was amusing. It also had a message even for the non-biblical folks. ARK
The one thing that had me cringing was the blatant unreality of a freshman congressman's life in Washington. Add to that the obviously fake shots of capital and surrounding area. This seems to be an issue with most movies supposedly based in DC. It ends up being stock footage, a blue screen or random LA area they put some posters up to give it that DC feel.
I was just recently disappointed when watching a new show of mine 'Bones.' While the wit keeps me tuned in, the awkward benches outside the Lincoln memorial just seem worthless.
So far only one movie gets my thumbs up and that's 'Breach.' Granted the film makers went to extra lengths making sure as much was filed on site around the area as possible.
