Jersey / GSA Expo

The first weekend in June saw us back in New Jersey. The normally 3 hour drive took us over 5 with the rain, clouds and traffic. This means we missed Leslie's birthday party with the family, but did get to see Sandy Friday night and Saturday morning.

We did a quick stop by Greg and Ann's to say hi, but then it was a quick drive over to Long Beach Island for a friends wedding. The service was low key and full of humour as they are. It was also great to see so many of the friends that Greg grew up with it. Closing down the near by karaoke bar at the end tells the story of just how much fun we had.

Sunday it was back to South Jersey and then down to DC in a much shorter drive home.

Greg had to quickly unpack and repack for a work trip. GSA Expo, which took place in San Antonio this year, is a big conference put on by GSA for it's vendors and customers. He even got to swing through Houston and see Scott, Kristi and Bryson on the way home with some coworkers.
