We decided to hit Vermillion in old town Alexandria for this times restaurant week. I have to admit I loved the company, but the place did not have that wow factor.
The food was decent, served artfully on large platters. The room itself was dark, and the one table the had for a larger party was almost in complete darkness.
To bring the focus back to the positive, the company was awesome. We meet up with three close friends from early college days. It is always great to see them and actually get some time together instead of just in passing or in a larger group of friends where small chatting is hard to accomplish.
