New England Fall Colors

This weekend we headed north to visit the Evans' in New Hampshire. It was an easy flight up Thursday, and beautiful cool temperatures when we landed. The drive from the airport to Amherst. Leanne gave us a cool tour of the area with a circle of the 'Typical New England commons area' and old cemeteries. Amherst has a cool old library and still has the original structures of the church and town center. We ended the day sending the niece's to a middle school dance while we made home made pizza's and a BBC series.

Saturday brought a cold rainy day, but our cousin, Lindsey, still got to show her soccer skills to us. Luckily, they won and it seemed we were shortly on our way back to the Evan's household. The two dogs were ecstatic to see us, but we were pretty quick to bed.

Sunday was much better weather which meant a trip to the local park was needed. This would work to stretch the dogs legs, let them swim, and socialize with some other pups we crossed paths with. The fall colors seemed in full bloom, and again I was amazed at the fiery red, cooling yellows, and brilliant oranges.

Monday was our most relaxing day with a plane ride back home, and besides laundry not much else.
