Happy New Year

The day before New Years Eve we went to a fancy Russian restaurant 'The Serbian Crown' with friends.

This is our third year going as a pre-new years tradition. They still have the best butterscotch vodka. It is like delicious liquid butterscotch. The service went way down hill from past years though, and there was even a huge error on the bill at the end of the night. So we may change the new tradition to just a fancy meal in the northern Virginia area.

New years eve we went over to the Smith household to ring in the new year with a townhouse full of friends. Most all of us slept over for safety reasons and the fun of reliving college days :)

The next day was spent nursing handovers, watching movies and playing games. After 28 hours we finally came back to our place to sleep and sleep and sleep some more. Kathy's law firm gave her a free holiday and Greg took the day off. So it was a nice four day weekend of relaxing and watching the Eagles beat the Vikings in the first round of playoff games!!
