This year we did Thanksgiving Texas style. This means beef brisket (slowly smoked from 7 am), sprial ham, beans (stewed for 24 hours), creamed corn (with some peppers for spice), homemade tamales, and some pies to top it off. This food lasted for days, and Sunday we finally pulled out the turkeys and deep fried those.
Keeping in the southern spirit it was also a football weekend with Texas A&M, Auburn, and the Eagles all playing. Though the Texasand Auburn games went better then the Eagles game.
