This weekend Greg, Scott, Kristi, Bryson, Dad and Kris came into town for a visit. This worked well as with our travel schedule we won't get to see dad again till after the holidays.
We spent time Friday at the Stockyards, watching the cattle drive, and dinner at the 3H ranch steakhouse. We roamed around the place that got Fort Worth started all those years ago, but now I just a tourist stop. Several spots have been and are TV spots. One is the Cattleman's steakhouse which was seen on Dallas many times. The other is the White Elephant which now has a spot on the new show Chase.
We also hit Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth Saturday. midway through the day the groups split with Kat and Kristi heading the room with Bryson for naps, and the boys go out for more shopping and watching the Auburn game on a big screen.
Sunday was relaxing as we just got to eat breakfast at the local Mexican place and then it was time to say good-bye to everyone.
