I place the Orioles first in the title not due to any love for the team, but for the simple fact that they beat the Yankees Friday night.
It was a clear warm night. The crack of the bat and the cheer of the crowds bounced off the renovated warehouse in downtown Baltimore. Smoke from the Boogs grills drew our interest. Great BBQ for a cheap price - well for a baseball stadium. A good group of friends from college and just met, but all for a perfect all American evening.
We stood out only slightly in our red gear, but a surprising number of other fans at the game gave us thumbs up or a cheer of 'Go Phillies.'
