Comet Ping Pong as seen on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives

Greg's dad was in town for a work deal, but with Ann sick at home and another work trip as soon as he got back, it was a quick visit.

As both Greg's love the show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives we found one listed for the DC area. I just requested that it not be of the dive category. We ended up at Comet Ping Pong - a cute new place in Northwest DC. Their specialty is the brick oven pizza. It only comes in one size, but it comes with a varied assortment of common and unique toppings.

The tables are ping pong tables, with a bar in the middle separating the ping pong playing area and the ping pong food tables. Be ready for a wait as it is a popular spot, and with a small bar area it gets a little crowded. Probably the only negative I would give the place it the bathrooms. First you have to locate them in the non-distinguishable doorway that blends into the wall. Then you have to go in to figure out if it's the boys or girls..... yeah, kind of awkward at first.

The evening was over to quickly and it was back to our little area in northern Virginia.
